
Ingredients
- 200 gramsof Sewai (Vermicelli)
- 150 gramsof Sugar
- 2 bigcardamoms
- 2 smallcardamoms
- 1tablespoon whole black pepper
- 2-3 bayleaves
- 1 tablespoonof raisins
- 100 gramsof ghee
- 2 tablespoonsof finely chopped dry fruits (cashew nuts, almonds, pistachio)
- 200 ml ofwater

- 10-15 minutes
Cooking Instructions
- Heat a nonstick pan on the oven
- Add ghee to the hot pan and allow it to melt
- Add sewai (vermicelli) to the pan, mix with the ghee and start stirring

- Keep the heat on medium and keep stirring for 10-12 minutes till the sewai is golden brown
- Add cardamom, bay leaves, whole pepper and raisins and mix with the sewai mixture

- To the mixture of sewai and spices, add sugar and mix it well

- Now slowly add water and keep stirring to avoid any lumps being formed
- Slowly the water will be absorbed by the mixture and the consistency will be softer; keep stirring continuously

- Once the ghee starts separating from the mixture, it is an indication that the sewai pulao is ready
- Garnish it will finely chopped dry fruits

- Sewai ka meetha pulao is now ready to be served!
